Mektub sent by the kadı of Çatalca and müfettiş with regard to the earlier orders about procument of provisions for Venice as requested by the bailo in İstanbul. In accordance with the ahdname, provisions such as wheat can be sold and exported to Venice at their current price in case of a scarcity and famine in Venice. As there is, an order sent by the Porte to the beyberleyi of Cezayir, kadıs, sancakbeyis, eminsand other local officials to allow three ships (their captains' names are given above) to approach ports and buy provisions. In line with this order, the Ottoman officials addressed are ordered to obey the ahdname and never oppress those captains buying provisions for Venice.
