Order sent to the beylerbeyi, kadı and defterdar of Haleb upon the request of the bailo regarding customs fees demanded from Venetian merchants. In line with the agreements, Venetian merchants pay their fees and receive a stamped temessük from the emin of the port in exchange. However, some merchants who already paid their fees and received temessük were demanded to pay again because their record of payment cannot be determined in spite of the fact that they had temessüks in their hands. The Ottoman authorities are ordered to prevent such double fee payments which is against the ahdname.
