Order sent to the beylerbeyi, kadı and defterdar of Haleb upon the request of the bailo regarding extra fees demanded by emins at the port. It is said that the Venetian merchants traditionally pays what is written in the ahdname to the emins at the port. However, the emins demanded more than these fees. There was another order sent by the maliye (finances department) in this vein. The Ottoman magistracies addressed are ordered to warn the emins so that they won't demand anything more than what is required by the ahdname and also act according to the order sent earlier. If emins at the port show them orders saying that they could charge more, the Ottoman officials are ordered to postpone implementation of such orders.
