Order sent to the kadı and sancakbey of Jarusalem upon the reqest of the bailo in İstanbul with regard to the Catholic churches and dir in the district of Nazaret in Jarusalem. As it has been the tradition, no one interfered in the affairs of these churches in Nazaret that belong to the Catholic clergy who hold necessary permits from the Porte. However, recently some people began to harass them. The kadı and sancakbey are ordered to prevent such interference in the affairs of these churches and other belongings of the Catholic clergy.
