Mektub sent by the former kadı of Rumeli to the kadı of Hasköy regarding bailo's men who were traveling between Istanbul and Venice to handle official business. On their way in the village of Semizce, some Ottoman non-Muslims attacked them and killed a few of them. Now the kadı is asked to investigate the issue. If what was reported is true, he is askedto punish those who attacked the men of the bailo . He is also requested to warn the people of the village so that they will not do such acts again.
