English Summary - Plain
Order sent to the beylerbeyi of Bosna and the sancakbeys and kadıs in the province upon the request of the bailo regarding the Spanish threat over Venice and its allies. The Spanish have been amassing its armies on the border since last year. Similarly, Venetians are also mustering their armies. At this point as loyal allies of the Porte, they need more soldiers and grain. For this reason, the Ottomans administrators are ordered to allow them to purchase grain and register men who are willing to fight for the Venetians. Those men could be Muslims or non-Muslims. This is important because if Venice loses the war, the Porte will face the threat from the Spanish presence near its borders.
