Order sent to the samcakbeys in the region of the Mediterranean upon the request of the bailo regarding the situation in Venice. As reported the Spanish who have been there for the last few year are still threatening Venice. For this reason, the Venetian beys need more soldiers and foodstuff. Last year they were helped from the Porte. This year they will be helped again. The Ottoman officials are ordered to let the Venetians enroll the willing Ottoman subjects (Muslim or non-Muslim) for the Venetian army and sell them extra grain from these administrative regions.
