It has been reported that the Ottoman emin at the port of Makarska are demanding extra taxes and fees from the Venetian merchants and harassing them. It has also been reported that Ottoman subjects are doing corsair activities in the Venetian bay causing losses for the Venetians. The beylerbeyi is ordered to investigate these issues, warn the emins at Makarska. He is also ordered to stop corsairs activities and destroy such boats and ships.
