Order sent to the beylerbeyi and kadı of Mısır upon the request of the bailo regarding the treatment of the Venetians and a certain case related to two Venetian merchants. The beylerbeyi and kadı are reminded that the Venetian consul and others are to be protected in accordance with the ahdname. Recently, two Venetians were forced to pay many akçe by an Ottoman official which was against the ahdname. The beylerbeyi and kadı are ordered to collect that money and return it to the Venetian merchants.
