English Summary - Plain
Order sent to the beylerbeyi of Sayda and Beyrut and to a kadı upon the request of the bailo regarding the Venetian merchants doing business in the area. In the past the merchants freely traded but recently some people demanded that the Venetian merchants trade only with them (sell only to them and buy only from them). This is against the ahdname rules. The Ottoman officials are ordered to protect the Venetian merchants and stop such people who oppress and harass the merchants.
