Order sent to the beylerbeyi and kadı of Mısır upon the request of the bailo regarding harassment of Venetian merchants in Egypt. Some people in Egypt harass Venetian merchants saying that some Venetians owed money to them before the war and now the current merchants are responsible for these monies. However, as these acts are against the ahdname and no one can be considered responsible for the debt of others, the Ottoman officials are ordered to stop these people and ensure that the ahdname is obeyed.
