The ahdname states that Venetian merchants are requeired to pay only 5 percent at the customs and no other fees are to be demanded from them. However, it has been reported that the beylerbeyi charges 35,5 akçe for each Venetian ship.As this is against the ahdname, the beylerbeyi and kadı are ordered to stop such impementations and only demand 5 percent from Venetian merchants.
