The beylerbeyi has the money of these merchants and these merchant sent one of their man to collect it. However, their man died in Kefe. Some Ottoman officials including emins demanded the money saying that it belonged to the dead person. The beylerbeyi is ordered not to allow anyone interfere with this issue and give the money to the current representative of the above mentioned merchants or send it to them with a trusted man.
