The Venetian came to Selanik for trade and then set off on a Muslim boat with his servant to Sakız. On the road, he and his servant were killed by the captain and captain's men. His belongings were taken. When the captain and his men were questioned about the Venetian noble after the boat returned back to Selanik, they answered that a corsair boat seized the noble and his servant. The kadı and sancakbey are ordered to investigate the issue and report it.
