Order sent to the beylerbeyi, kadı and officers in Kefe upon the request of the bailo regarding death of a certain Venetian merchant in Kefe. After merchant's death, the nazır of Kefe confiscated all of his belongings including cash in spite of he was there with his brother who is also a merchant and his partner. The nazır sent men to pick up the dead merchant's belongings and his men also took other merchants' goods as well in this merchant quarter. The Ottoman officials are now ordered to take back the dead Venetian merchant's and other merchants' belongings and return everything to the bailo's men.
