Order sent to the sancakbey and kadı and şehzade in Manisa upon the request of the bailo regarding customs fees demanded from Venetian merchants at the ports of Sakız and İzmir. Merchants pay their regular fees after they unload their goods. However, officials at the ports of İzmir and Sakız demand fees before the merchants set off after selling or buying. This is against the ahdname. The Ottoman officials are ordered to stop such implementations.
