Order sent to the kadı of Jerusalem regarding a certain Şeyh Mehmed who harasses the non-Muslims visiting a certain place known as Kadim-i İsa Aleyhi's-salam. It is one of the sacred places for non-Muslims and has been accepted so in the ahdname. However, Şeyh Mehmed claims that this place is his right and he intends to construct some buildings which is against the ancient rules and ahdname. Although there have been orders from the Porte and from the beylerbeyi of Şam (Damascus), he continues to harass non-Muslims. Now the kadı is ordered to stop him and if he insists the kadı is to report him to the Porte and then do as instructed.
