Order sent to the kadı of İzmir upon the request of the Venetian bailo regarding the fees demanded from Venetian merchants at the port of İzmir. Normally, payment of a small amount of money to the kethüdas at the port by captains of the Venetian ships started as a tradition and as a gift. However, gradually the amount increased and now the kethüdas are demanding a portion of the goods that the merchants bring. The English and French merchant ships pay 500 akçe for this. The kadı is ordered to allow only 500 akçe to be demanded from the Venetians and nothing more.
